Parenthood is full of so much joy and yet the normal everyday challenges can feel like they only ever happen to us.
At Little Worlds Workshop, we want you to feel like you are part of a team
We work hard to create a vibrant community of support. Teachers maintain open communication with parents and share the children’s interests, conversations, and projects. We are here to listen and support and problem solve if challenges arrive
Parent participation is highly encouraged. We will go on regular outings. Some will be field trips that fit with the current interest of focus. Others will be more informal gatherings, a walk in Glen Canyon or a day at the beach, voluntary and held on the weekend or Fridays so whole families are able to join. We hold several gatherings throughout the school year after working hours, such as our winter solstice gathering and summer picnic.
Parents are also welcome to come during the school day and share a talent, read a special story, or just sit and play. We will be starting family share days this year where parents come to school to share about what makes each child and family brilliantly unique. We understand that some schedules do not allow much flexibility and we will work with you to find creative ways for all to participate. The teachers would love to hear any ideas you have.
