2025-26 SCHOOL CALENDAR

Little Worlds Workshop follows the SFUSD schedule of holidays plus several additional teacher planning days. We are open for most of the summer. We close for four weeks in July/August. 

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 2025-26: August 25, 2025

Little Worlds Workshop will be closed on the following days:

Monday, August 25, 2025: First Day of School for returning families

Tuesday, August 26, 2025: First Day of School for new students

September 1, 2025: Labor Day

October 10 and October 13, 2025: Indigenous People’s Day and Teacher Prep

Nov. 10-11, 2025: Veteran’s Day and Teacher Prep

Nov. 24- Nov. 28, 2025 (FULL WEEK):Thanksgiving Break

Dec. 22- January 2, 2026 (2 Full Weeks):Winter Break

January 19, 2026: Martin Luther King Jr. Day

February 16-18, 2026: Lunar New Year and President’s Day (3 days)

March 30- Tuesday 4/7/2026: Spring Break (one week plus monday and tuesday)

May 4, 2026: Teacher Inservice

May 25, 2026: Memorial Day

June 18-19, 2026: Juneteenth and Teacher Prep

July 3, 2026: Independence Day

July 27-Aug. 14, 2026 (3 FULL WEEKS): Summer Break

August 17 -21, 2026 (1 FULL WEEK): Teacher Inservice, school closed

*August 24, 2026: Start of 2026-27 School Year

*These summer break and school start dates may change by a week. They are set based on when SFUSD sets their start date and will be updated when SFUSD releases those dates, usually around January 2025.
