STEP 2: OPEN HOUSES

Last week of October 2022

First week of November 2022

This will be a time to learn about the school, look around our school, and ask any questions you may have about our program. In person open houses will be limited to vaccinated adults. Children will be welcome. We ask that all attendees wear masks.

STEP 3: APPLICATION

Following the information session, you will receive an application. Applications will be accepted from October 30th though January 14. There is a $15 application fee.

STEP 4: INDIVIDUAL PARENT/TEACHER CONVERSATIONS

Once your application has been received, Joy will reach out to you to schedule an individual conversation. This will allow us to get to know each other and give you an opportunity to ask any further questions you may have. It is not an interview! You can not fail!

STEP 5: ACCEPTANCE LETTERS

All applicants will be notified within the first two weeks of March, 2022 regarding whether we are able to offer you a slot or waitlist.  Parents have one week from receipt of their offer letter to accept and secure admission.

STEP 6: GETTING TO KNOW YOUR CHILD

Children will be given time to get to know the teachers and space of Little World Workshop. Joy conducts home visits during the summer to allow children to begin to build a base of relationship and help Joy begin the process of learning how to best support your child. We will also hold a summer playdate and Joy will work with you to set up a gradual enrollment process that fits the needs of your family.

Little Worlds Workshop is a fully licensed Large Family Day Care license with the California Department of Social Services. Our license number is 384004407.
